The Passing Of William Corey

Hello,

Thanks for reading my Japanese garden blog.

It is with great sadness that I learned of the death in the last few days of the eminent Japanese Garden photographer William Corey.

His work was simply the best that you could find and he will be a very sad loss to the world of Japanese and Zen gardens. My condolences go out to his family on behalf of myself and all readers of this blog.

I had an ‘e mail’ relationship with William, he was very helpful and courteous to me when I first started this blog and even supplied me with useage of some of his beautiful photgraphs to display on my blog. We exchanged ‘links’ and many of my readers visit his website every day and vice versa.

Please take a moment to click on the link on the right hand side of this blog page it will take you directly to Williams website. He was an extraordinary man with an extraordinary talent.

Below is a tribute to William, by clicking this link you will be able to learn more about him and his work.

It was my pleasure to work with him and I shall miss him.

God bless William and rest in peace.

I’m so glad to share your website with the kind and generous man, artist for me and my family. We have come to enjoy his works while experiencing his beautiful vision.
We feel helpless in letting a dear sensitive person in our life go and leave us.He faced his last moments with great courage.
We just watched “Astronaut Farmer” and found the metaphors that probably touched him…he recommended this film to me.We had our favorite quotations by Tolstoy on Courage of which William was agreat example.
